Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doug Bell (ranked 229 p4p, 34 weight class) and Schmorgen Biscuit (ranked 331 p4p, 48 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Doug Bell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Schmorgen Biscuit! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Franklyn Lucas and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bell takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Bell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Biscuit moves away. We've been informed that Biscuit has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. A telegraphed right hand from Biscuit misses the target. Biscuit throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bell's waist but Bell gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Biscuit off to one side. Bell throws a shot from downtown. Biscuit moves away and avoids it. A looping hook to the body misses from Bell. Biscuit does a little dance to reset his feet. Bell swings for the body but Biscuit moves out of range.
Biscuit ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bell on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Biscuit bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bell's head. Bell looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Biscuit throws a looping overhand right but Bell ducks down to avoid it. A shot to the body from Biscuit misses and Bell counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Bell pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Bell lands with a right hand. Bell throws a hook to the side of Biscuit's head but Biscuit sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. and Bell counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bell walks into a left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Biscuit throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bell on the side of the head. Bell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Biscuit manages to avoid it. Bell lands a jab to the nose. Bell misses with an uppercut. Biscuit lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Biscuit tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. The fighters circling - Bell throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Biscuit with the counter takedown but Bell avoids it easily. Doug Bell is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A punch lands to the side of Bell 's head but he takes it in his stride. Bell wants to clinch. Bell misses with a straight right. Biscuit bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Biscuit shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Biscuit was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Bell might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Biscuit lands a few punches from side control. Both fighters take a look at the clock. You can see the frustration on Bell's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Bell tries to get back to half guard but can't. Biscuit scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The strikes coming from Biscuit are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Bell tries to control but Biscuit manages to take his back. Biscuit punches Bell on the ear. Doug Bell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Schmorgen Biscuit. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bell tries a body shot but Biscuit blocks it.

It looks like Schmorgen Biscuit has been cut. Bell throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Biscuits head. Bell lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Biscuit backwards. A body shot lands from Bell.
Biscuit is breathing heavily. Bell misses with a body punch.
Bell stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. A short right from Bell on the inside. Bell lands a shoulder strike. Biscuit prevents a body shot from Bell. Biscuit takes a shot to the head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bell prevents the takedown attempt.

Bell pulls Biscuit in close to his closed guard and prevents Biscuit from doing any damage or advancing position. Bell continues to stall. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Biscuit is in close to Bell's body, working some short punches and elbows. Bell is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Biscuit throwing strikes from guard but Bell blocks nicely.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Bell misses with a double jab.
Biscuit scores with a jab. Bell acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Bell misses the shot to the body. Biscuit takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Biscuit shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bell pinned against the cage. Bell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bell takes one on the button. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bell cracks Biscuit with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Bell avoids the body shot from Biscuit.

Bell takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Good standup being displayed there by Bell as he connects with a hook. Biscuit takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Bell takes a swing at Biscuit's ribcage but misses. Biscuit shoots for a double leg takedown but Bell sprawls well. He's pushed Biscuit's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Biscuit connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bell momentarily.
Biscuit rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bell moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bell was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bell changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bell pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Bell lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Biscuit at a distance.
Bell fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Biscuit manages to avoid it. Sloppy strikes from Bell. Those never looked like landing. Bell has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Biscuit finds it's way round the side to connect with Bell's head. A swing and a miss from Biscuit. Bell tries to close the distance and clinch but Biscuit swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Nice jab there from Biscuit. Biscuit shoots in for a takedown but Bell shows good takedown defense. Doug Bell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Schmorgen Biscuit. Bell looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Bell with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Biscuit to score with a decent uppercut. A punch lands to the side of Biscuit 's head but he takes it in his stride.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bell missing with a left hand there. Biscuit was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Biscuit throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bell connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Bell ducks under a wild hook from Biscuit. Bell is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Biscuit connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bell. Bell circles away out of range and recomposes himself. and Bell counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Bell goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Bell bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Bell defending well as Biscuit loads up on a big left hand. A quick step to the side and Bell tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Bell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Biscuit moves away. Biscuit looks for a takedown but Bell sprawls well. Bell half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Biscuit clinches up with Bell and pushes him back against the cage. Bell lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Biscuit. Biscuit takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bell lands a hook that snaps the head of Biscuit backwards. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bell digs a right hand into Biscuit's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Biscuit's gas tank. Doug Bell has scored more points in the clinch so far. Biscuit wants to stall.

Doug Bell is winning the standup battle so far. Bell throws out a powerful jab. Bell jabbing away but nothing is landing.
And that's the end of the fight! Doug Bell showed his dominance in that final round. I think Bell has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
