And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Abbott!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Fedor Mirinova and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Devil looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Abbott!
Abbott is letting Devil control him for a moment.
Abbott is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Devil wants to control but Abbott is keeping him busy.

Abbott tries to get back to half guard but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Devil has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Devil drives through with a takedown into Abbott's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Devil seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Devil drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Devil jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Devil stands up from Abbott's guard - Devil perhaps looking for a knockout.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Devil working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Abbott is keeping busy.

Devil patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
Abbott rolls, trying to escape but Devil keeps control of the position.
Devil controls the action.

Devil is persistently looking for the submission but Abbott is defending it well.

Devil is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Abbott defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Devil tries to keep control of the position but Abbott is staying busy.
Good control from Devil.
Abbott is trapped and Devil is scoring with shots to the head and body.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Devil working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Abbott is doing well to defend. Devil seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Abbott is forced to tap and this one is over!
