Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Torreira (ranked 7271 p4p, 409 weight class) and Moganesh Jain (ranked 5956 p4p, 380 weight class). Moganesh Jain told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksandr Martynov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jain jabs Torreira to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Jain is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nice shot lands for Torreira.
Torreira fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jain manages to avoid it.
Jain feints the counter takedown.
A big left from Torreira misses.
Jain swings away with a body shot that misses
and Jain takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jain checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Jain with the counter takedown but Torreira avoids it easily.
Jain shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Torreira's guard.
Jain tries to free his leg and advance position but Torreira is retaining full guard.

Torreira seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
Jain must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Jain postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Torreira is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jain, into his guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jain controls Torreira momentarily but Torreira frees himself.
Jain is adopting a defensive guard.
Torreira stopping the sweep attempt from Jain.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jain keeping moving, preventing Torreira from controlling successfully.
Torreira wants to pass the guard but Jain is keeping the position.

and Jain counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Jain seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Torreira looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Jain is defending well. Torreira quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Jain has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Torreira celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
