Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Ricket (ranked 4356 p4p, 341 weight class) and Ramelo Gracie (ranked 4031 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricket comes to the cage accompanied by One Foot. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ricket tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Gracie manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ricket looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Ricket is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ricket throws a sloppy head kick
and Gracie counters with a stiff right hand.
Gracie misses with a double jab.
Gracie just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromRicket.
Gracie ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Ricket has managed to clinch.
Gracie takes an elbow to the forehead.
Gracie should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ricket is pressed up against the cage. Gracie has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ricket down to the mat. Ricket avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Ricardo Ricket has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ramelo Gracie.
Gracie misses with a shot to the body
and Ricket counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Ricket has closed the distance and engaged Gracie in a clinch.
Ricket using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Gracie has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Ricket is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Gracie has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ricket is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Gracie blocking some punches.
Ricket prevents a takedown attempt there.
Ricket throws a knee to the head but misses.
Ricket stops a takedown attempt from Gracie.
Gracie blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Ricket is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Gracie can't get the takedown.
Ricket looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Ricket throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Gracies head.
Still in the clinch, Ricket scores with a nice short uppercut.
Gracie is working for takedown but Ricket is calmly controlling the position for now.
Ricket breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ricket misses with a series of wild punches.
And Gracie tries to counter it with a takedown but Ricket pushes his down on his head and steps out.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ricket moves into the clinch.
Ricket's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ricket as he jumps to the side.
Gracie dives in and grabs Ricket's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ricket pushes down on Gracie's head and hops out.
Ricket was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Gracie throws a left and a right that both miss
and Ricket counters by clinching up.
Ricket fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Ricket breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ricket gets in close and instigates a clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ricket throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Gracie blocks it with crossed arms.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Gracie has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ricket avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Ricket swings away with an uppercut that misses.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Ricket.
Ricket tries to throw a body punch but Gracie avoids it by throwing Ricket back against the cage.
Gracie tries for a takedown but Ricket manages to get underhooks.
Gracie is trying to trip Ricket. He has hold of a leg but Ricket is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Gracie persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Ricket is looking to stand back up but Gracie counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Ricket.
Gracie maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Ricket could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Gracie has cracked it and Ricket is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Gracie!
