The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mayweather misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Yamamoto.
A low kick from Mayweather misses
and Yamamoto counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Mayweather has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Yamamoto off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Yamamoto throws an overhand right that lands on Mayweather's shoulder, as Mayweather tries to avoid the shot.
Mayweather appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Yamamoto uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mayweather.
Yamamoto tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mayweather swivels and escapes.

Yamamoto seems to be working for a kimura but Mayweather defends the submission attempt.
Mayweather is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Yamamoto's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Yamamoto's back!
Mayweather really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yamamoto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
