Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seth Sexton (ranked 17135 p4p, 687 weight class) and Dunning Kruger (ranked 8158 p4p, 644 weight class). Sexton comes to the cage accompanied by I'm too sexy - Right Said Fred. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Seth Sexton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dunning Kruger! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Russell Pearce and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sexton takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Sexton throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Kruger counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Sexton definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Sexton throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kruger fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sexton has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Sexton dives in for a single leg takedown but Kruger sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Sexton looks to land a right hand but Kruger moved out of range. It seemed like Kruger was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Kruger takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
It looks like Dunning Kruger has been cut. A jab from Kruger misses. Sexton clinches up against the cage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Sexton. Kruger lands a hook to the side of the head. Sexton is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Kruger lands with a left to the head. This has been an exciting period of action! Kruger trying to control the position but instead, Sexton has worked for underhooks and has pushed Kruger into the cage. A body shot lands from Kruger.
Kruger can't find room to land a body shot as Sexton controls the action.
Sexton prevents a body shot from Kruger. Sexton is trying to force a seperation but Kruger has the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kruger has Sexton pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kruger pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Sexton tumbling to the mat - Kruger dives into Sexton's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sexton wants to stand and escape but Kruger is having none of it. Kruger wants to control from the top but Sexton keeps moving. Sexton can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Kruger controls the pace. Kruger trying to control the position from guard on top but Sexton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kruger connects with a couple of short punches. Kruger postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sexton is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kruger, into his guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kruger is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kruger stands and throws Sexton's legs to the side, diving into side control. Sexton is looking for a sweep. Kruger working away. Sexton is looking to reverse the position. Kruger looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sexton tries to get back to half guard but can't. Kruger wants to control for a moment but Sexton uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Sexton keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Sexton tries to kick Kruger off but Kruger keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Sexton wants to get back to full guard. Kruger working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Sexton's thigh. Sexton counters though and makes it back to full guard. Sexton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kruger is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Sexton trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Kruger not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Kruger throwing strikes from guard but Sexton blocks nicely. Sexton wants to stand but Kruger is controlling the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sexton's corner calls for a 1-2. Sexton obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dunning Kruger dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dunning Kruger's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
An inside leg kick from Kruger misses. Sexton closes the distance looking to clinch and Kruger counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Kruger misses with a wild body shot. Sexton rushes Kruger and presses him up against the cage. Nice body punch from Sexton - that landed with a thud.
Kruger lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Sexton backwards. Sexton tries to land a knee to the head but Kruger blocks with his arms.
Sexton wants to break the clinch but can't.
Sexton breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sexton connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kruger. Kruger circles away out of range and recomposes himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sexton moves into the clinch successfully.
Kruger goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Sexton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Sexton swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kruger let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Sexton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Sexton fails to land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sexton displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kruger throws out the jab. Sexton fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kruger on the side of the head. Kruger feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Sexton's calf. Nice straight punches there by Sexton. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sexton. Seth Sexton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice jab there from Kruger. Kruger turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. A swing and a miss from Kruger. Left hook, right uppercut from Sexton. Sexton misses with a looping right. Kruger follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Kruger looking to land some kicks to the body here.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A nice leg kick lands there from Kruger. Kruger throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kruger working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Kruger softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Sexton. Kruger pressing his opponent against the cage. Kruger misses with a short punch on the inside. Kruger tries to throw a body punch but Sexton avoids it by throwing Kruger back against the cage. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Sexton breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sexton fails to land with a series of punches.
Sexton uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kruger.
Sexton seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Kruger has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sexton finds it's way round the side to connect with Kruger's head. Kruger keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sexton. Kruger throws a hook to the side of Sexton's head but Sexton sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Kruger misses with a body kick. Sexton throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kruger sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jab, jab by Sexton - just one landing.
That has opened up Dunning Kruger's cut even more. Sexton throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kruger on the side of the head. Sexton wants to clinch but Kruger slips to the side and Kruger cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Sexton clinches up against the cage. Kruger keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Sexton's efforts to push away. Kruger digs a right hand underneath Sexton's ribcage. Sexton let out a lung full of air as it connected. Kruger gets through Sexton's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Sexton prevents a body shot from Kruger. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Sexton lands a shoulder strike. Stalling in the clinch from Sexton.

Sexton tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Sexton throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kruger blocks it with crossed arms. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kruger looking to stall.
Sexton breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kruger throws a jab but it's blocked by Sexton. Nice shot lands for Kruger.
It looks like Seth Sexton has been cut. Sexton lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Sexton moves in looking to clinch but Kruger pushes him off. Sexton displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kruger throws out the jab. Sexton lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kruger circles away quickly and effectively. Good exchange - Sexton coming out on top. Sexton takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Seth Sexton will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Sexton will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That kick from Kruger tenderised Sexton's leg. Sexton is trying to keep his angry face on. Sexton is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Sexton lands a jab to the nose. Kruger scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Seth Sexton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sexton darts in trying to clinch and Kruger counters with a thumping low kick. Sexton throws a right and a left that both miss. Kruger keeps the fight on the outside. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sexton shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kruger manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Kruger looking to control.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kruger has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Sexton won't allow Kruger to sweep him here. Sexton trying to control the position from guard on top but Kruger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kruger is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kruger had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sexton defends it easily. Sexton throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kruger works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kruger is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kruger working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sexton doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Kruger is tightening it up a little... Sexton has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Sexton reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Sexton taps out! Nice BJJ there by Kruger!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Dunning Kruger! Dunning Kruger decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well. The defeated Seth Sexton had this to say: 'Naaah, didn't happen. This was just a bad mushroom trip and I'm still undefeated! '.
