Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Bueller (ranked 16476 p4p, 627 weight class) and Pascual Perez (ranked 4612 p4p, 500 weight class). Perez has chosen Another One Bites The Dust as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eric Bueller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 30 - 1, fighting out of New York, Pascual Perez!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Bruno Lombardi and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bueller tests Perez's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Perez forces Bueller back against the cage and clinches.

Bueller breaks from the clinch.
The fight stays on the outside here - Perez looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bueller smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Bueller misses with a double jab

and Perez counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Perez throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Bueller blocks it with crossed arms.

Bueller manages to break the clinch.
Perez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bueller swats him away and circles back towards the center.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Perez tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Bueller counters with a straight right hand.
Perez's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Bueller connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Perez scrambles back to his feet.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Bueller's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Perez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bueller half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Bueller throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Perez counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Bueller gets tackled into the cage by Perez. Perez maintains the clinch.
Our sources have told us that Bueller has been working on his elbows in the gym.

Bueller's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bueller swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Perez counters with a one-two to the body.
Perez doesn't manage to clinch there - Bueller circles away.

Perez turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Perez manages to end up in side control.
My spies in Big Price MMA inform me that Perez has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bueller throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Bueller pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Perez darts in and clinches Bueller up against the cage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Perez is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Perez tries to bench press Bueller off him but Bueller keeps the position.
Bueller is staying tight to Perez's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Bueller's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Perez is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
