Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sandayu Winger (ranked 2211 p4p, 286 weight class) and Shock Linewood (ranked 8046 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Sandayu Winger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Shock Linewood! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Winger misses with a right hand and Linewood counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Linewood throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Linewood fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Winger looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Linewood moves away from the strike by Winger. A slow jab from Linewood misses its intended target. Jab, jab by Winger - just one landing. A jab from Winger does it's job there. A jab from Linewood misses. Winger slips a straight right by Linewood. Winger misses with a takedown attempt and Linewood counters with a nice leg kick. Linewood lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Winger is trying hard to land a takedown here. Linewood sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Linewood! But no joy. Winger moves out of range as Linewood strikes. Some bone on bone action there as Winger checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Good exchange - Linewood coming out on top. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Linewood misses with a wild body shot. Winger appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Linewood finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Linewood swings for the body but Winger moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Winger closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Ground and pound from Winger. Winger slips a nice elbow through Linewood's hands, connecting with Linewood's forehead. Linewood is looking for a sweep. Winger is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Linewood is still trying to improve position. Linewood is looking to control Winger's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Linewood avoid being mounted? Linewood felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Linewood avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Winger. Winger wants to lay and pray for a moment but Linewood keeps working. Linewood blocking the ground and pound attempt from Winger. Linewood wants to improve his position but Winger is controlling well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Winger takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Linewood is looking for a sweep. Winger is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Linewood looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Linewood slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Linewood utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Winger trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Winger is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Linewood is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Linewood has escaped and now he's on top!
Winger has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Winger working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Linewood doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Winger is tightening it up a little... Linewood has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Linewood reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Linewood taps out! Nice BJJ there by Winger!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Sandayu Winger! Sandayu Winger really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Sportivité logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
