The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Chad Campbell and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barkley shoots in and drives through. Joseph sprawls well.
Joseph throws a big counter combination but Barkley scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Joseph tries to clinch up.
A shot to the body from Barkley misses
and Joseph counters with a three punch combo that has Barkley backing up. Barkley nods at Joseph to acknowledge the strikes.
Barkley ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Joseph moves away.
As Barkley tries to get set, Joseph tries to push him back and clinch up but Barkley manages to avoid the attempt.
Joseph moves in looking to clinch but Barkley pushes him off.
Barkley should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Joseph shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Barkley's guard.
Barkley pushes Joseph off and gets back to his feet.
Barkley tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Joseph swivels and escapes.
Barkley tries to clinch but Joseph is having none of it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Barkley lands a nice hook to Joseph's body. Joseph takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Joseph gets control of Barkley's arms and successfully pulls guard. Joseph will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Barkley working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Joseph is trying to keep Barkley in close.

Barkley chips away with some ground and pound.
Barkley postures up in Joseph's guard and throws a big left but Joseph blocks it.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Barkley's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Barkley loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Joseph is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Barkley avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Joseph not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Barkley attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

As Barkley tries to get set, Joseph tries to push him back and clinch up but Barkley manages to avoid the attempt.

and Joseph counters with a left and a right that stings Barkley.
Barkley shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Joseph as he avoids it easily.

Barkley dives in for a single leg takedown but Joseph sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Barkley rushes Joseph and presses him up against the cage.
Barkley has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Joseph is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Joseph pulls guard successfully.
Joseph tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Barkley trying to control but Joseph is working from the bottom.
Joseph controls Barkley momentarily but Barkley frees himself.
Joseph is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Barkley throws a big elbow that misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kraig Joseph dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Barkley clinches up with Joseph and pushes him back against the cage.
Barkley looking for a takedown.
Joseph tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Barkley just stands there and leans against the cage.
Barkley has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Joseph clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Joseph is trying to stand back up.
Barkley is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Joseph up.
It looks like Kraig Joseph has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Joseph is covering up but some of the strikes from Barkley are getting through and doing damage.
Joseph is rocked!
Kraig Joseph's cut is getting worse.
Barkley scoring with big shots to the body. Joseph is looking for a way out. A despairing look towards the ref and the official steps in to stop the fight. Joseph was obviously done but didn't want to tap out.
