Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Miguel Cotto (ranked 412 p4p, 67 weight class) and Al Hallick (ranked 361 p4p, 55 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Miguel Cotto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
35 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Al Hallick! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hallick slips a jab from Cotto. Nice shot lands for Cotto. Cotto looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Hallick throws out a powerful jab. Cotto throws a sloppy head kick and Hallick counters with a lovely straight right hand! Hallick swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Cotto tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hallick manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A chopping leg kick lands by Cotto. Cotto fails to land with a series of punches.
Cotto misses the body punch and Hallick counters with a nice uppercut. Cotto throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hallick. Cotto pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Cotto defending well as Hallick loads up on a big left hand. Cotto throws a head kick but Hallick moves out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cotto on the wrong end of a nice jab.
It looks like Miguel Cotto has been cut. Cotto thuds a left hand into Hallick's body. A nice inside leg kick there by Hallick. That's going to slow Cotto down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cotto falls off balance throwing a combination
and Cotto takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Cotto misses with a two punch combination.
Hallick feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Cottos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Cotto rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hallick counters with a nice low kick that buckles Cotto's knee momentarily. Hallick slips under a jab from Cotto. Cotto moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Cotto lands a jab to Hallick's midsection. Cotto looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hallick is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Cotto tries to clinch but Hallick moves away and Hallick counters with a huge left! Cotto is in big trouble! He's backing up but Hallick isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Cotto from any more damage. A dominating finish by Hallick!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Al Hallick! Al Hallick decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
