13 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Glenn Williamson! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Romano scores with a nice strike. Williamson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
As Williamson looks to move away, Romano throws a big counter combo but Williamson just gets out of the way. Romano uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Williamson. Imperio Romano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Williamson misses with a hook

Williamson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Romano circles away quickly and effectively. Williamson scores with a sloppy right hand. Romano should have avoided that one. Romano lands a really nice looking cross but Williamson seems unphased.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Williamson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Williamson might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Williamson throws a big shot that misses. A little feinted left hand from Romano on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Romano swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Williamson is trying to keep his angry face on. Romano goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Williamson throws a low kick but it's checked well by Romano. Nice uppercut there from Romano. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Williamson just misses with a punch to the body.

Imperio Romano is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Romano throws a jab when Williamson was well out of range. Williamson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Romanos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Romano stuffs the takedown. Romano moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Romano tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Williamson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Williamson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Romano gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Williamson. Romano dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Williamson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Williamson tries to close the distance and clinch but Romano swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Williamson misses with a hook
and Romano counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Romano! Williamson is out on his feet! Romano rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Williamson is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Williamson is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Imperio Romano! Imperio Romano decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
