Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eric Parker (ranked 5254 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ru Hunter (ranked 5113 p4p, 480 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Eric Parker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ru Hunter! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker slips a jab from Hunter. Hunter instigates a clinch. Parker trying to control the position but instead, Hunter has worked for underhooks and has pushed Parker into the cage. Parker goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Hunter has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Parker is trying to keep an underhook but Hunter manages to get the takedown into half guard. Parker tries to kick Hunter off in order to stand up. Hunter Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Parker manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Parker is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hunter has one foot on Parker's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Parker throws a head kick that misses. Eric Parker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hunter swats him away and circles back towards the center. Hunter changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Parker looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Hunter landing strikes. Parker is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Hunter's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Hunter seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Parker does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Parker wants to control but Hunter is keeping busy.
Hunter is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Parker tries to kick Hunter off but Hunter keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parker is not content to let Hunter control the position. Parker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Parker is trying to stand up here but Hunter is controlling him well. Parker is defending against the submission attempts here by Hunter.
Parker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hunter on the ground. Parker actively working from the bottom here. Hunter is working for a submission of some sort.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Hunter decides to stand up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parker gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hunter to score an easy takedown into full guard. Parker looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Hunter passes into half guard.
Parker is looking for a sweep. Hunter is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hunter trying to control the pace. Hunter is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Parker is looking to improve his position.
Hunter is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Parker sees it coming and defends easily. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hunter in particular looking to stall. Parker is trying to maintain the position but Hunter is very close to passing his half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ru Hunter dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hunter tries to clinch but Parker moves out of range. Hunter fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Parker sprawls well initially but Hunter persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Parker wants to improve his position but Hunter is controlling well.
Hunter wants to pass to mount but Parker is defending the position. Parker tries to get to full guard but Hunter has control of the leg. Parker with the active half guard here but Hunter passes nicely into side control. Hunter has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hunter is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Parker is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Parker tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hunter is staying tight to Parker's torso, preventing him from escaping. Parker tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hunter lands a nice forearm strike. Parker is being controlled here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Hunter trying to control the position but Parker is working away. Parker can't do much from the bottom here. Parker is looking for a sweep. Parker is not content to let Hunter control the position. Hunter advances to full mount. Hunter looking for a guillotine from mount but Parker is having none of it. Parker is trying to escape the mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hunter avoids the attempt from Parker to control. Parker can't escape the position.
Hunter working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Parker looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Hunter! Submission of the night perhaps?
