Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Badou Baha (ranked 1724 p4p, 253 weight class) and Bradford Forbes (ranked 3241 p4p, 423 weight class). Baha kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Vegedream. Badou Baha has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Badou Baha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Bradford Forbes! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Forbes shoots in and gets a takedown into Baha's guard. Forbes wants to control from the top but Baha keeps moving. Forbes drops back, looking for a kneebar! Baha looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Baha looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Baha! Forbes is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Forbes is positioning himself to get back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Forbes regains half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Forbes looking for submissions off his back. Baha wants to get back to his feet.
Baha with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Forbes wants to control but Baha is keeping busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Forbes looking for submissions off his back. Forbes is staying active underneath Baha, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Baha not landing any meaningful shots this time. Forbes is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Baha pulls his head out easily. Forbes trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Baha will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Forbes tries to lock up and control but Baha gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Forbes tries to buck Baha off but he can't manage it. Forbes sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Forbes looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Forbes is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Baha pulls his head out easily. Forbes moves into full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Forbes is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Baha defends well. Baha wants to pass the guard but Forbes is keeping the position. Forbes is looking for a triangle but Baha pushes his legs off easily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Forbes wants to sweep here but Baha controlling him for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Bradford Forbes will probably get the nod. That's time! Baha's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Baha looks to land a right hand but Forbes moved out of range. Forbes jabs Baha to the body, keeping him at a distance. Forbes's jab looks to have found its range, popping Baha under the eye. Forbes gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Nice defenses there by Forbes. Forbes misses with a hook. Baha throws a looping overhand right but Forbes ducks down to avoid it. Baha looks to land a right hand but Forbes moved out of range. Baha throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. The fighters circling - Baha throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Baha ducks under a wild hook from Forbes. A little feinted left hand from Baha on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Forbes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Baha. It looked like Baha wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Forbes walks into a left hand. Baha throws a left and a right that both miss
and Forbes counters with a stiff right hand. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Forbes misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Baha.

Baha throws a lazy right hand but Forbes sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Baha tries a head kick but it misses.
Forbes throws a poor cross that misses
enabling Baha to counter with a crisp jab. Baha throws a hook but Forbes blocks it. Forbes throws a series of strikes that have Baha backpedaling.
Forbes misses with a hook. Forbes throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Baha keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Forbes. A shot to the liver by Forbes. Beautiful body shot. Badou Baha is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Forbes takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Forbes walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Baha paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Baha misses with a straight right. Baha throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Forbes swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Badou Baha is winning the standup battle so far. Baha jabbing away but nothing is landing. Forbes waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Baha. Baha is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Forbes throws a hook but Baha avoids it easily. Baha on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Baha slips under a jab. Forbes takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Forbes is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. A swing and a miss from Baha. Forbes takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Forbes slips a straight right by Baha. Forbes fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Baha looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Baha takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Baha throws a body kick that misses. Forbes feints the counter takedown. Baha throws a shot from downtown. Forbes moves away and avoids it. Badou Baha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A slow jab from Baha misses its intended target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baha looks to throw the jab but Forbes is out of range. Baha staying out of range there. Forbes tests Baha's chin there with a solid looking shot. Baha waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Forbes. Forbes tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Baha swings away with a leg kick that misses. Forbes uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Baha. And Forbes tries to counter it with a takedown but Baha pushes his down on his head and steps out. Forbes scores with a punch to the head. Forbes shoots in and drives through. Baha sprawls well. Forbes connects with a single shot there. Forbes swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Forbes steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Baha. Baha throws out a loose jab but Forbes uses good head movement to avoid it. Baha scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Baha looks to throw the jab but Forbes is out of range. A shot to the liver by Forbes. Beautiful body shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Forbes avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Forbes connects with a body shot that sends Baha's belly button to the back. Forbes dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A swing and a miss from Baha. Forbes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Baha manages to avoid it. Forbes scores with a jab. Baha acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Baha looks to land a right hand but Forbes moved out of range. Forbes slips a jab from Baha. Forbes moves out of range as Baha strikes. Forbes tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Forbes throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Baha misses with a straight left. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Baha misses with an uppercut
and Forbes counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Baha throws a body punch but Forbes moves out of range. Forbes with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Baha to score with a decent uppercut. Forbes uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Baha. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Badou Baha will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Forbes is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Baha slips a jab from Forbes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Forbes with a body punch. A glancing blow. A cross from Forbes lands. Forbes misses with a left hand and Baha counters with a straight right hand. This has been an exciting period of action! Baha uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Forbes.
Baha is looking to counter with a body kick. Baha throws a hook but Forbes blocks it. Forbes changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baha misses with a left hand and Forbes counters with a single leg into guard. Baha didn't expect that. Forbes stays in close to Baha's body and controls the position. Forbes drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Baha dives on top into guard.
Forbes working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Baha doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Baha manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Forbes had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Baha defends it easily. Forbes looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Baha passes into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Forbes can't do much from the bottom here. Baha wants to stand but Forbes is controlling his arm. Forbes manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Forbes is trying is best to control the position here. Baha is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Forbes manages to get to full guard. Forbes has his foot on Baha's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Baha works his way back into a safe position though. Forbes looking for a guillotine here but Baha defends easily.
Baha knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Forbes on the ground. Forbes pushes a forearm under Baha's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Baha is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
