Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eta Knox (ranked 2377 p4p, 120 weight class) and Jaro Lalla (ranked 2141 p4p, 107 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Knox might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to David Dallas | Runnin'. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eta Knox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Jaro Lalla! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, John Kavanagh and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lalla shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Lalla looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Knox tries to get to full guard but Lalla has control of the leg. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Knox keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Knox wants to improve his position but Lalla is controlling well.
Knox tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Lalla working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Knox is positioning himself well to prevent Lalla advancing to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lalla is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Knox defends it well. Knox slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Knox is trying to control the position but Lalla postures up. Knox looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lalla stands and throws Knox's legs to the side, diving into side control. Knox stops Lalla from passing to mount. Knox is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at FIERCE - {{$750}} - 15 Elite Coaches, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Knox is trying to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Knox sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Knox is looking for a sweep. Lalla is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Knox wants to control but Lalla is keeping busy.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. No luck for Lalla with that takedown attempt. Knox swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Knox looks to score with a jab to the body but Lalla is just out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Knox throws a shot from downtown. Lalla moves away and avoids it. Knox gets in close and instigates a clinch. Knox stalling in the clinch but Lalla improves position. Knox throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Lallas head. Lalla lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Knox makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Knox. Lalla stopping the sweep attempt from Knox. Knox can't keep his opponent in guard - Lalla advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Knox wants to control but Lalla is keeping busy.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Knox moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jaro Lalla dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Lalla takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Lalla shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Knox napping and manages to drive through into side control! Lalla looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. A control attempt from Knox but he's now mounted! Knox regains half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lalla is looking for a kimura here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Knox works his way to full guard. Good work. Knox is adopting a defensive guard. Knox trying to keep a closed guard but Lalla is proving a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Lalla postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Knox is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lalla, into his guard. Knox looking to pass the guard. Knox has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Knox's corner is telling him to maintain position. Jaro Lalla has got the better of the ground game so far. Knox is pushing down on Lalla's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lalla is fighting to maintain full guard but Knox has managed to sneak the leg through. Knox looks to land a strike but Lalla avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lalla has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Knox can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Lalla keeping moving, preventing Knox from controlling successfully. Knox throwing strikes but missing. Lalla working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Knox. Knox stays in close to Lalla's body and controls the position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Knox takes a swing at Lalla's ribcage but misses. Lalla shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Knox as he jumps to the side. Lalla drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Lalla blocks a jab. Lalla drives through with a takedown into guard. Knox pulls Lalla in close to prevent any damage. Knox is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lalla won't allow Knox to sweep him here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Jaro Lalla will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Lalla shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Lalla is thwarting Knox's attempts to control the position. Lalla stops Knox from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are battling for position here. Knox manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Knox pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lalla is keeping the position for now. Knox trying to control the position from guard on top but Lalla is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Knox forces his way into half guard. Eta Knox has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Knox is stalling here. Lalla is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Knox seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Lalla has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Knox struggling a bit here. Lalla is trying to get an arm triangle but Knox is defending well. Lalla tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lalla has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lalla is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Knox knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Knox is trying to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Lalla tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Knox sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Knox is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Lalla's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Lalla's back! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Knox biding his time, controlling Lalla. Lalla staying busy and making it hard for Knox to control.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Eta Knox. I think Lalla has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by majority decision... Jaro Lalla! A very excited looking Jaro Lalla rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
