White closes the distance and clinches.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and White counters with a nice double leg into side control. McSteamy won't be happy with that.
McSteamy is looking to regain half guard here but White keeps moving and retains side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
White is trying to get an arm triangle but McSteamy is defending well.

McSteamy on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if McSteamy tries to get out of the position.

McSteamy is trying to control but can't.
White is looking for submissions but instead, McSteamy has regained full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
McSteamy is trying to control the position but White postures up.

White stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McSteamy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
McSteamy really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
White shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
McSteamy tries to reverse the position but White maintains control.

That was a close round but I would say that Sloan McSteamy will probably get the nod.

White changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. McSteamy looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Fred White's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Fred White's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
