Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cardo Dalisay (ranked 7518 p4p, 235 weight class) and Joca Carioca (ranked 5996 p4p, 218 weight class). Cardo Dalisay could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Joca Carioca's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cardo Dalisay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Joca Carioca! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carioca takes one to the chin there. Carioca takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Dalisay takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Carioca shoots for a takedown but Dalisay saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Dalisay throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Carioca steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dalisay. Carioca tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Carioca bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Dalisay connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Carioca fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dalisay sprawls well initially but Carioca persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dalisay has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Carioca is working away from the top position though. Dalisay wants to get back to his feet. Carioca is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dalisay sees it coming and defends easily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Carioca in particular looking to stall. Dalisay wants to get back to his feet.
Dalisay tries to get to full guard but Carioca has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carioca is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dalisay sees it coming and defends easily. Carioca prevents Dalisay from standing back up.
Dalisay on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dalisay tries to get out of the position. Carioca seems to be looking for submissions.
Carioca moves nicely into side control. Dalisay knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carioca on the ground. Dalisay pushes Carioca away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Carioca gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Carioca in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Dalisay is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
