Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stable Genius (ranked 3972 p4p, 405 weight class) and Ronnie White (ranked 1828 p4p, 207 weight class). White has chosen The Bleeding as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stable Genius!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ronnie White!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Ben Watson and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White loads up on a big right hand but Genius slips the punch.
White keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
White fails in his attempt to clinch.
White moves into the clinch.
White gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Genius regains guard.
White throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Genius works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
White missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
White trying to control but Genius is working from the bottom.
White throws an elbow that misses. Genius uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in White's guard. Nice move by Genius!
White is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Genius defends well.
Genius will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Genius has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing White to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Genius is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - White pulls down on the head and he's put Genius to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ronnie White!
After winning the bout, Ronnie White thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
