Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gibesi Aymeric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Adrian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Gibesi Aymeric has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gibesi Aymeric! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brandon Adrian! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Columbo Gatti and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adrian closes the distance and clinches. Aymeric tries for a takedown but Adrian manages to get underhooks.
Aymeric jumps into guard, dragging Adrian to the mat.
Adrian seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Adrian stands and throws Aymeric's legs to the side, diving into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Adrian in side control, just content to control the action for now. Let's hope that Adrian has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aymeric misses with a strike from the bottom. Adrian is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Aymeric will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Aymeric misses with an elbow from the bottom. Aymeric is breathing heavily. Adrian controls the position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Aymeric tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Adrian wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Adrian is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Aymeric will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Despite being in the dominant position, Brandon Adrian just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Aymeric closes this distance looking for a takedown but Adrian circles away. Adrian shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Aymeric's guard. Adrian stands up from guard. Let's bang! Excellent takedown into side control there by Adrian. Adrian working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adrian controls the position. Aymeric is looking to reverse the position. Aymeric being controlled for a moment. Aymeric on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Adrian is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Aymeric has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aymeric tries to buck Adrian off but Adrian is having none of it. Adrian is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Aymeric will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Adrian trying to control the action but Aymeric is working from the bottom. Aymeric stops Adrian from passing to mount. Aymeric is looking for a sweep. Adrian decides to stand back up. Aymeric fails with the takedown and Adrian counters with a single leg into guard. Aymeric didn't expect that. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gibesi Aymeric. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Adrian is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Adrian must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Aymeric keeping moving, preventing Adrian from controlling successfully. Aymeric escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Adrian gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Adrian wants to pass the guard but Aymeric is keeping the position. Aymeric is trying to control the position but Adrian postures up. Aymeric tries to land a sweep but no joy. Adrian connects with a couple of short punches. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brandon Adrian dominated that round. That's time! Aymeric's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Aymeric has his takedown stuffed and Adrian counters with a nice double leg into side control. Aymeric won't be happy with that. Adrian staying calm. Adrian in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Aymeric is letting Adrian control him for a moment. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Adrian decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Aymeric with a poor takedown and Adrian counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Adrian. Adrian slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Aymeric manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Adrian is trying to reverse the position but instead Aymeric has taken his back - oops! Adrian defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.

Aymeric lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Aymeric.
Adrian is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Aymeric gets his way!
Aymeric has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Adrian defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Aymeric's arms. Aymeric thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Adrian tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Adrian just holding on. Aymeric trying to control but Adrian is having none of it. Adrian manages to control the position for a moment. Aymeric goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Adrian is on top in guard.
Aymeric is looking for a triangle but Adrian pushes his legs off easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brandon Adrian showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Adrian drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Adrian has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Aymeric is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Adrian yanks on the arm and Aymeric is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Adrian.
