Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ryan Hatmann!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Lotay Wangchuck!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wangchuck defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hatmann.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Wangchuck.
Hatmann's coaches at Cozad MMA St Petersburg have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Wangchuck trying to control the action but Hatmann is working from the bottom.

Wangchuck tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Hatmann gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hatmann wants to control but Wangchuck is having none of it.
Hatmann is squirming around, avoiding Wangchuck's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wangchuck is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Hatmann to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hatmann shrugs it off.

Wangchuck working for a submission but Hatmann is keeping him at bay.

Wangchuck looking for a guillotine from mount but Hatmann is having none of it.
Wangchuck takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Wangchuck has control of Hatmann's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hatmann regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Wangchuck has hold of Hatmann's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hatmann manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Wangchuck can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hatmann is looking to escape.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Wangchuck with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Wangchuck is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Hatmann to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hatmann shrugs it off.

Wangchuck goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Hatmann is on top in guard.

Wangchuck pushes a forearm under Hatmann's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Hatmann is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
