Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Flippie Digity! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vasiliy Borodin! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck with that takedown attempt from Digity. Borodin is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. A right-left combo lands from Borodin. Digity closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Borodin did well to prevent Digity getting side control. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Digity lands a nice short elbow. Digity sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Borodin defending well though. Borodin wants to control but Digity is keeping busy.

Digity fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Borodin tries to close the distance and clinch but Digity swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Digity avoids a punch combination nicely.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Borodin can do anything to dispel that myth.

Borodin has one of Digity's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage. Digity tries to score with some ground and pound. Borodin controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Digity stands up and we're back to a striking position. Borodin tries to clinch but Digity moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Digity looking to score a takedown here. Borodin is defending well but Digity drives through and ends up in Borodin's guard. Borodin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Digity. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Digity trying to control but Borodin is working from the bottom. Digity is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Borodin is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Borodin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Digity postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Digity trying to control but Borodin is working from the bottom. Flippie Digity overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Digity is just content to waste time from the top position. Borodin takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Digity lands a couple of elbows. Digity working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Borodin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Digity decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Borodin, up you get! Digity closes this distance looking for a takedown but Borodin circles away. Borodin takes the fight into the clinch.

Vasiliy Borodin is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Digity goes for a takedown attempt but Borodin pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
