Kruschev comes to the cage accompanied by Every Me Every You. David Dedmon is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wally Kruschev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, David Dedmon!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Darius Henderson and Ben Watson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dedmon misses with a lunging right hand
letting Kruschev counter with a right hand.


It looks like David Dedmon has been cut.
Dedmon tries to clinch up but Kruschev circles away and keeps his distance.
Dedmon tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A decent looking cross lands there for Kruschev.
Kruschev dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dedmon. That did some damage!
The fight stays on the outside here - Dedmon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Dedmon uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kruschev.
Donk. Kruschev catches Dedmon right on the button with a cross.
Dedmon looks to score with a jab to the body but Kruschev is just out of range.
David Dedmon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice uppercut lands for Kruschev. That snapped Dedmon's head back.

Dedmon has taken the fight to the clinch.

Kruschev breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Dedmon moves into the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dedmon pushes off an throws an elbow but Kruschev leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Kruschev escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Dedmon tries to clinch there but Kruschev circles away.
Kruschev jabs Dedmon right on the nose. Dedmon blinks but takes it well.

Kruschev clinches up against the cage.

Kruschev breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kruschev looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dedmon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Dedmon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kruschev, pushing him back against the cage.
Kruschev scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Dedmon looking to throw knees to the head but Kruschev is blocking nicely.
Kruschev avoids the elbow strike from Dedmon, against the cage.
Dedmon throws a knee to the head but misses.
Dedmon throws an elbow that misses.

Kruschev's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dedmon doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kruschev connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Dedmon rushes Kruschev and presses him up against the cage.
Dedmon creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Kruschev's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A punch lands to the side of Dedmon 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Dedmon clinches up with Kruschev and pushes him back against the cage.
Dedmon misses with a knee to the head.
Dedmon throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Kruschev escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kruschev throws a nice inside leg kick.
Dedmon misses with a hook to the body
and Kruschev counters with a straight that turns Dedmon's legs to rubber! Kruschev pushes forward with more strikes and Dedmon goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wally Kruschev!
Wally Kruschev very nearly forgot to thank Ma Balls Is Hot Clothing amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
