Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brayden Point (ranked 784 p4p, 85 weight class) and Sildosoves Bagueirau (ranked 2806 p4p, 233 weight class). Bagueirau has chosen The Way as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Brayden Point has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bagueirau with a poor takedown

and Point counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Point.
Bagueirau takes a shot to the head.
Point stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Point lands a shot to the body.
Point is working Bagueirau over against the cage.
Point working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Point.
Point pushes Bagueirau back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Point.

Point breaks from the clinch.
Bagueirau dips to his left and cracks Point with an uppercut!
No luck for Bagueirau with that takedown attempt.
Bagueirau looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Bagueirau tries to score a power double leg takedown but Point sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bagueirau somewhat.
Brayden Point has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sildosoves Bagueirau.
Bagueirau changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Point tries to avoid it but Bagueirau manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Point to the ground. Point escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Point bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bagueirau fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Point wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Bagueirau throws an overhand right that lands on Point's shoulder, as Point tries to avoid the shot.

Point works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Bagueirau misses with a takedown attempt - Point sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Point connects with a right hand. Bagueirau shakes it off.
Bagueirau changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Point tries to avoid it but Bagueirau manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Point to the ground. Point escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Point lands with a short shot to the head.
Point lands a shot to the body.
Point softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Point lands a shoulder strike.
Point gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bagueirau.
Point lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Bagueirau backwards.
Bagueirau drops down looking for an ankle pick but Point pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bagueirau has his takedown stuffed
and Bagueirau takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Bagueirau is rocked!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Point is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Bagueirau flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Bagueirau is out cold! Point holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
