Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Chaelsson (ranked 435 p4p, 15 weight class) and Zyd Xyd (ranked 1291 p4p, 48 weight class). Zyd Xyd will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaelsson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Xyd defends it nicely.

and Xyd counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Chaelsson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Xyd.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

In his post fight interview, Patrick Chaelsson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
