Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Caritas Jones (ranked 5325 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dariusz Kucharski (ranked 4679 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by Another One Bits The Dust. The key to victory for Caritas Jones has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Caritas Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dariusz Kucharski! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed right hand from Kucharski misses the target. Kucharski throws a big shot that misses. Jones misses with a takedown and Kucharski counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Jones wants to stand back up but Kucharski manages to pass into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jones wants to control but Kucharski postures up. Jones looking for a sweep but Kucharski has passed into full mount! Oh no! Kucharski content just to control the position here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kucharski's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. More stalling from Kucharski. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kucharski prevents Jones from getting the reversal.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kucharski lands a heavy elbow. Kucharski lands a nice shot to the head. Kucharski takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Jones is looking to get to half guard. Kucharski cracks Jones with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Kucharski lands a big elbow. Kucharski pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Kucharski raining down shots from the mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kucharski sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Kucharski has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jones's face.
Jones slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Kucharski controlling the action here. Kucharski has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kucharski with more of the same as he continues to hold on. Jones is trying to control but Kucharski passes into side control!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jones takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Kucharski working the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kucharski misses with a looping right. Jones blocks a jab. Kucharski misses with a right hand and Jones counters with a head kick. That will keep Kucharski thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Dariusz Kucharski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kucharski looks to land a left hand but Jones moved out of range nicely. Kucharski waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Jones. Jones shoots in for a takedown but Kucharski shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Kucharski misses with a looping left. Jones throws a big counter combination but Kucharski scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Kucharski avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kucharski sizes up Jones with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
It looks like Caritas Jones has been cut. Kucharski swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jones jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. A looping hook to the body misses from Kucharski. Jones does a little dance to reset his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones misses with a body kick. Kucharski swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Kucharski lands with an overhand left. Caritas Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kucharski missing with a left hand there. Jones was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Kucharski might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Jones shoots for a takedown but Kucharski saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones slips under a jab from Kucharski. Kucharski fails with a takedown attempt. Jones lands a two punch combo.
Kucharski throws a jab when Jones was well out of range. Kucharski throws a big shot that misses. Kucharski misses with a hook. Kucharski scores with a takedown into Jones's guard. Kucharski slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kucharski's corner. There ya go! That's two minutes gone in the round. Kucharski showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Jones tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kucharski scoring with punches to the head and body. Jones looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kucharski stands up over Jones, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Jones has momentary wrist control but Kucharski slips an elbow through the middle. Kucharski controlling from the top position. Kucharski is continuing to stall.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kucharski but Kucharski pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kucharski with the counter takedown but Jones avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Caritas Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kucharski misses with an uppercut
and Jones counters with an outside leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kucharski. Jones does a little dance to reset his feet. Kucharski throws an overhand right that lands on Jones's shoulder, as Jones tries to avoid the shot. Jones drops down looking for a counter takedown but Kucharski sprawls and moves away. Jones throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Kucharski's corner calls for a 1-2. Kucharski obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Jones misses with a kick to the body.
Kucharski fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jones sprawls well initially but Kucharski persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Kucharski has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kucharski content to control rather than advance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dariusz Kucharski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Caritas Jones's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kucharski working the ground and pound. Kucharski lands some shots froms side control. Jones takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones tries to buck Kucharski off but Kucharski is having none of it.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Jones avoids the body shot from Kucharski.
A shot to the liver by Kucharski. Beautiful body shot. Kucharski scores with a shot to the body.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jones shoots and misses and Kucharski counters with a lovely straight right hand! Kucharski cracks Jones with a good jab. Kucharski throws out a loose jab but Jones uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kucharski scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Jones tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kucharski lands a big shot there that rocks Jones but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Kucharski tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Kucharski pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Kucharski controlling the pace for now. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that's the end of the fight! Dariusz Kucharski comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kucharski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
