Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Don Cartagena (ranked 3403 p4p, 371 weight class) and Rasul Mirzaev (ranked 2679 p4p, 305 weight class). Cartagena comes to the cage accompanied by The Crack Attack. Mirzaev comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Killshot - Eminem kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rasul Mirzaev has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Mirzaev rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Cartagena counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Mirzaev drops his hands momentarily and Cartagena takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
It looks like Rasul Mirzaev has been cut.
Mirzaev ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

and Cartagena counters with a nice uppercut.

and Mirzaev counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Cartagena down! Mirzaev is looking to finish but Cartagena is intelligently defending himself.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
