Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jomar Galang (ranked 3822 p4p, 394 weight class) and Somrak Khamsing (ranked 3544 p4p, 371 weight class). Galang comes into the arena with No Other Name blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Galang misses with a wild body shot.
Khamsing slips a jab from Galang.
As Galang backs off Khamsing throws a huge counter combo but Galang manages to avoid it all.
Khamsing moves out of range of the strikes.
Galang throws a lazy uppercut
and Khamsing cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jomar Galang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Galang swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Khamsing counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Galang takes a swing at Khamsing's ribcage but misses.
Khamsing lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Galang just misses with a punch to the body.
Khamsing looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Galang throws a series of punches but Khamsing avoids them all with ease.
Galang missing with a left hand there. Khamsing was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Khamsing swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Khamsing doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Galang looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Galang throws a hook but Khamsing avoids it easily.
A little jabbing left from Khamsing on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Khamsing uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Galang.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Khamsing wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Khamsing keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Galang is rocked!
Galang leaves his chin hanging out and Khamsing seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Galang crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Somrak Khamsing!
Somrak Khamsing was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
The defeated Jomar Galang had this to say: 'I dunno sounds like a lot of effort to me. I think I'd prefer red dead 2 and pornhub'.
