Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcelinho Lima (ranked 2857 p4p, 324 weight class) and Randy Savage (ranked 4475 p4p, 447 weight class). Savage is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Pomp & Circumstance. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lima tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lima throws a series of punches but Savage avoids them all with ease.
Savage tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Lima has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Lima throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Lima fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Savage sprawls well initially but Lima persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Savage felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Lima darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Savage's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Lima before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
