Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bancrofti Wuchereria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wuchereria has chosen Manowar - Blood of the Kings as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Mauricio Rocha and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wuchereria but Wuchereria pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Johnson lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Wuchereria tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Johnson tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Wuchereria counters by moving into the clinch.
Wuchereria lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Johnson is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Wuchereria is keeping busy.
Johnson can't get the takedown.
Wuchereria breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Wuchereria fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Johnson is looking to clinch but Wuchereria is avoiding it.

Johnson gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Wuchereria has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Johnson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
John Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bancrofti Wuchereria.
Wuchereria tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Wuchereria wants to break the clinch but can't.

Johnson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Johnson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Johnson is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Johnson extends the arm and Wuchereria is forced to tap!
