PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yan Oslo (ranked 7206 p4p, 543 weight class) and Monkhbat Togoruutan (ranked 6249 p4p, 510 weight class). Oslo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is CHILDREN OF BODOM - Trashed, Lost & Strungout. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Monkhbat Togoruutan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Togoruutan gets the takedown into side control. Togoruutan is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Oslo will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Oslo has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Togoruutan is really squeezing tight and eventually Oslo passes out! Togoruutan breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Monkhbat Togoruutan! A less than humble Monkhbat Togoruutan misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities. The defeated Yan Oslo had this to say: 'Sorry'.
