Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oroku Saku (ranked 5852 p4p, 494 weight class) and Barry Buchanan (ranked 5758 p4p, 491 weight class). Barry Buchanan is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saku throws a leg kick which misses Buchanan's front leg but catches the back leg as Buchanan tries to avoid it.

Saku connects with a leg kick. Buchanan looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Buchanan has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

A very excited looking Oroku Saku made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
