PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Aegon Targaryen (ranked 6424 p4p, 542 weight class) and Emiljano Bicaj (ranked 4336 p4p, 440 weight class). Targaryen's entrance music is Game of Thrones Theme Song. A fine choice. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Bicaj closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Bicaj has hold of one of Targaryen's legs. Targaryen is fighting the takedown attempt but Bicaj gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Targaryen is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
A nice right hand lands inside from Targaryen.
Bicaj is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Bicaj blocks a punch to the side of the head.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Targaryen.

Bicaj tries to stall but Targaryen uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Aegon Targaryen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Emiljano Bicaj.
Targaryen tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bicaj's elbow.
Targaryen lands a shoulder strike.

Targaryen pushes Bicaj off but Bicaj dives into side control.

Bicaj is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Targaryen looks calm but he's in trouble here. Bicaj gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Targaryen is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Bicaj lets go of the hold and Targaryen can pop his arm back in it's socket.
