The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cowboy shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Cowboy was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Cowboy controlling from the full mount. Miller is looking to improve his position but Cowboy isn't that keen on the idea. Cowboy trying to control but he's not successful this time. Cowboy fails to take his opponent's back. Miller tries to reverse the position but Cowboy maintains control. Cowboy controlling from mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cowboy has control of Miller's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Miller regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Cowboy looking to secure an arm triangle but Miller defends it well. Miller working to try and regain half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Cowboy takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Miller makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Miller. Cowboy looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Cowboy is posturing up here but Miller has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Cowboy tries to roll out but it's too tight and Cowboy has to tap! Slick submission there by Miller!
