Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mitsu Hide!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Patrick Gap!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hide.
Hide bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Hide clinches up with Gap and pushes him back against the cage.
Hide jumps guard.
Gap looking to pass the guard.
Gap is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Hide trying to control the position.
Hide isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Gap stacks Hide on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Gap!
Gap tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Hide sneaks back into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hide tries to roll over but Gap keeps him under control.
Gap is trying to work for a kimura but Hide is defending well.
Hide looking for submissions off his back.
Gap is looking to take a break and control but Hide is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are battling for position here. Hide manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Gap trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hide gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Hide is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hide really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hide keeping full guard, as Gap tries to pass.
Gap slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Hide pulls Gap in close to prevent any damage.
Gap drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gap jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hide lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Gap!
Gap looks gassed!
Hide looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Hide is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Gap can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Hide trying to control but Gap is having none of it.
Hide is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Gap has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Gap!
Gap slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Gap decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Hide circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gap scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Gap has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Gap lands a big elbow.
Hide is looking to improve his position but Gap isn't that keen on the idea.
Gap is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Gap extends the arm and Hide is forced to tap!
