PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergey Beznisko (ranked 118 p4p, 17 weight class) and Rama Arjuna (ranked 207 p4p, 27 weight class). Arjuna has chosen Om as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 15 - 1, fighting out of London, Sergey Beznisko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rama Arjuna!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beznisko lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Sergey Beznisko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beznisko dives in and grabs Arjuna's left leg, looking for a takedown. Arjuna pushes down on Beznisko's head and hops out.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Sergey Beznisko will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Beznisko lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Arjuna has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Arjuna and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Beznisko, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
