Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Blind Shaman (ranked 141 p4p, 27 weight class) and Desmond Glass (ranked 153 p4p, 28 weight class). Shaman comes into the arena with Shaman's Dream blaring out of the sound system. Glass has chosen Across 110th Street by Bobby Womack as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
33 - 17 - 3, fighting out of Los Angeles, Blind Shaman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 9 - 2, fighting out of London, Desmond Glass! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Glass scores with a decent looking hook. Shaman swings for the body but Glass moves out of range.
Shaman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Glass manages to avoid it. Glass misses with an uppercut. A telegraphed right hand from Shaman misses the target. Desmond Glass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A big right from Glass misses. Glass throws a low kick, looking for Shaman's leg but Shaman calmly moves out of range. Shaman throws a solid leg kick but Glass takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Shaman. Glass takes a swing at Shaman's ribcage but misses. Glass defending well as Shaman loads up on a big left hand. Shaman lands with a right hand. Glass throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Shaman sees it coming and avoids it easily. We've been informed that Glass has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Glass chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Shaman gets a takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Glass tries to kick Shaman off but Shaman keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Shaman lands a nice short elbow. Glass tries to kick Shaman off but Shaman keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Glass trying to get back to his feet but Shaman is in full control for now. Glass is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Shaman gets his way!
Even with his hooks in, Shaman manages to miss with strikes from the back. Shaman tightening his grip on Glass, looking for the choke.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shaman controlling from the back. Shaman is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Glass defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Shaman's arms. Shaman wants to control but Glass is keeping busy. Glass trying to get back to his feet but Shaman is in full control for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet. Glass misses with a leg kick. Shaman throws a big shot that misses. Glass swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. A solid leg kick lands there for Glass.
Shaman is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A slapping leg kick lands for Glass.
Glass throws a hook to the side of Shaman's head but Shaman sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Shaman pivots, looking for a leg kick but Glass is out of range and Shaman settles back down. Glass swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Glass throws a right and a left that both miss. Shaman fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Glass is out of range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Glass ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Shaman moves away. Shaman ducks under a wild hook from Glass. Shaman is looking to counter punch. That kick from Glass tenderised Shaman's leg. Shaman is trying to keep his angry face on. Good standup being displayed there by Shaman as he connects with a hook. Shaman throws out a loose jab but Glass uses good head movement to avoid it. Shaman looks for the body kick but Glass saw that one coming. A big right from Glass misses. Glass blocks a low kick nicely. Shaman misses with a hook. Glass scores with a body shot.
Shaman tried to score with a low kick but Glass checks it. Shaman shoots for a double leg takedown but Glass sprawls well. He's pushed Shaman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Glass, as that shot connected.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Blind Shaman will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Glass throws the left hand but Shaman avoids the punch easily. Shaman slips a straight right by Glass. Glass pivots, looking for a leg kick but Shaman is out of range and Glass settles back down. Shaman thows a left - swing and a miss! Glass lands with a thumping leg kick.

Glass misses with a wild body shot. Shaman throws a hook but Glass avoids it easily. Glass misses with a low kick. Shaman changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Shaman throws the left hand but Glass avoids the punch easily. Glass throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Glass thumps Shaman with a low kick. Shaman's jab looks to have found its range, popping Glass under the eye. Glass takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Glass lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Shaman has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Shaman and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Nice defenses there by Glass. Shaman takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Desmond Glass is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Danga de danga de dang - Glass scores with a four punch combination! Glass throws a body punch but Shaman moves out of range. Glass connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Shaman defending well as Glass loads up on a big left hand. Shaman changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. A jab from Glass misses. Glass takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Glass tests Shaman's chin there with a solid looking shot. Shaman misses with a wild body shot. Shaman connects with a solid leg kick. Glass tries a low kick but Shaman avoids it. Glass swings away with a leg kick that misses. A nice leg kick lands there from Glass. Glass misses with a hook. Shaman ducked under it nicely. Glass misses the shot to the body. Shaman staying out of range there. Shaman lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shaman looks to land a body kick but Glass moved away. Shaman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Glass.

Glass lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Glass lands a right hook to the body.
Shaman takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Shaman misses with a low kick. Shaman fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Shaman misses with a hook. Glass throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Glass lands a really nice looking cross but Shaman seems unphased.
Shaman loads up on a big right hand but Glass slips the punch. Glass throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Shaman takes a shot right to the bread basket. Glass throws a jab when Shaman was well out of range. Shaman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Glass was covering up waiting for the punch and Shaman finishes the takedown easily into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shaman pushes down on Glass's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shaman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Glass is just riding it out for now. Shaman eventually gives up the hold. Shaman trying to mount his opponent but Glass defends it. Glass pushes Shaman off looking to stand but Shaman dives back in and keeps control.
Glass won't allow Shaman to pass to mount. Shaman is trying to control the action in half guard but Glass is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Shaman passes to side control. Glass is trying to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Shaman advances to mount. Glass is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Glass is controlling an arm, preventing Shaman from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Shaman tries to control but Glass wriggling away. Glass wants to try and get back to his feet. Glass bucks up and throws Shaman to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape! A swing and a miss from Shaman. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Desmond Glass showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Shaman's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Shaman throws a body shot but no joy. Shaman checks a low kick from Glass. A swing and a miss from Glass. Glass avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Decent striking displayed by Glass there. Glass throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Shaman shoots for a takedown but Glass saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Shaman connects with a solid leg kick. Shaman tries to score a power double leg takedown but Glass sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Shaman somewhat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shaman swings for the body but Glass moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round. Glass is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Shaman trying to control from half guard but Glass is working away. Shaman seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Glass is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Blind Shaman! Post fight, Blind Shaman stared into the camera and said 'His defeat will free him from....his soul and deception of himself. I envy his journey, yet I would not choose his path. He knows this symbolises the end of his life as a fighter. One day I will hope to learn such humility.'. The defeated Desmond Glass had this to say: 'I have to get with my coaches and manager, and rethink my gameplan going forward. I'll be back.'.
