And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Tearrius George!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Eddie Farnsworth and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body punch from George.
Fiddlesticks misses with a wild body shot.
George scores with a spinning back kick!
George uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fiddlesticks.
Fiddlesticks walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
George tests Fiddlesticks's chin there with a solid looking shot.
George scores with a jab to the jaw.
George walks into a left hand.
Ramses Fiddlesticks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

George looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

George looking to score a takedown here. Fiddlesticks is defending well but George drives through and ends up in Fiddlesticks's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

George drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and George jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

George drops back looking for a leg! Fiddlesticks is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fiddlesticks manages to kick George off! George jumps back into Fiddlesticks's guard.
Fiddlesticks is looking to stand up but George isn't so interested in that idea.

George slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

George working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

George is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Fiddlesticks has escaped the position, nice work there.

George is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fiddlesticks is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

George is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! George extends the arm and Fiddlesticks is forced to tap!
