Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Uzumaki Yahiko (ranked 7473 p4p, 415 weight class) and Danish Ali (ranked 24944 p4p, 438 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Uzumaki Yahiko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danish Ali!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Dmitry Maklakov and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali misses with a takedown attempt - Yahiko sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Yahiko stuffs the takedown.

Yahiko shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Ali has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Yahiko is on him like a limpet, forcing Ali back against the cage.
Yahiko tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ali smiles and moves away.
Yahiko throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ali dives in for a single leg takedown but Yahiko sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Uzumaki Yahiko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danish Ali.
Ali shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Yahiko but Yahiko pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Yahiko tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Ali manages to circle out of the way.

Yahiko manages to break the clinch.
Ali has his takedown stuffed

Yahiko scores with a shot to the side of Ali's head.
Ali wants to get back to striking at distance but Yahiko won't allow it.

Yahiko has hold of one of Ali's legs. Ali is fighting the takedown attempt but Yahiko gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Yahiko gets to his feet - Ali follows without any prompting.

Yahiko shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ali's guard.
Ali wants to improve his position but instead Yahiko has moved into half guard.

Yahiko lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ali shoots for a takedown but Yahiko saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ali shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Yahiko pinned against the cage. Yahiko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Nice takedown defense from Yahiko. No joy for Ali on that attempt.

Yahiko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ali with the counter takedown but Yahiko avoids it easily.

Yahiko really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Yahiko misses with a body kick.
Yahiko tried to score with a low kick but Ali checks it.
It seemed like Ali was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Ali gets caught napping as Yahiko dives in and scores a takedown. Ali manages to retain guard.
Ali is trying to control the position but Yahiko postures up.

Ali escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Yahiko gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Yahiko advances position into side control!

Yahiko lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Ali down.

Yahiko stands up.
Yahiko stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Yahiko wants it to stay on the feet.

Yahiko gets a double leg takedown into Ali's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yahiko postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Yahiko's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Ali can't keep his opponent in guard - Yahiko advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Yahiko shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Ali kicks Yahiko off and gets back to his feet.
Uzumaki Yahiko is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Yahiko closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ali's guard.
Yahiko is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ali can do to turn this around?
Yahiko seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yahiko slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Ali really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yahiko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ali is working an open guard so Yahiko takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ali is defended easily by Yahiko.
As Ali looks to move away, Yahiko throws a big counter combo but Ali just gets out of the way.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Ali gets tackled into the cage by Yahiko. Yahiko maintains the clinch.
Ali wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Yahiko has him pressed against the cage.
Ali tries to circle away but Yahiko has him pinned against the cage.

Ali is pressed up against the cage. Yahiko has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ali down to the mat. Ali avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Ali checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Yahiko throws a hook to the side of Ali's head but Ali sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Yahiko shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Yahiko showed some decent athleticism there.

Ali manages to escape and get back to his feet!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Yahiko is trying to drag Ali to the mat but Ali just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Ali wants to break free but Yahiko has control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Ali is trying to push Yahiko away but Yahiko has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Yahiko pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Yahiko lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ali has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ali and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yahiko throws out a powerful jab.

Yahiko drives through with a takedown into Ali's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Yahiko forces his way into half guard.
Yahiko looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ali with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Yahiko is trying to work for a kimura but Ali is defending well.
Yahiko is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Danish Ali has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

A looping hook to the body misses from Yahiko. Ali does a little dance to reset his feet.
Uzumaki Yahiko is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Yahiko gets the takedown into side control.
Ali is looking to get back to his feet here but Yahiko is keeping cool and he's managed to take Ali's back.

Danish Ali comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Yahiko has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
