Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Caio Bottura (ranked 311 p4p, 38 weight class) and Rudy Rhod (ranked 288 p4p, 32 weight class). Bottura comes to the cage accompanied by Face The Pain. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rudy Rhod seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bottura lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rhod has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rhod and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Rhod lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Well Rhod has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
