Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pikey Chav (ranked 1355 p4p, 202 weight class) and Léonard Lucy (ranked 885 p4p, 138 weight class). Chav's entrance music is Shamrock. A fine choice. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Léonard Lucy enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucy scores with a decent looking hook.
Chav pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Lucy swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Donk. Chav catches Lucy right on the button with a cross.
Chav moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Chav cracks Lucy with a good jab.
Lucy gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Chav misses with a jab, cross combination.

and Lucy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Pikey Chav has been cut.
Chav connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lucy momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Chav appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

Chav throws the kick towards the body but Lucy avoids it.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Chav.
Chav seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Chav drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Lucy regains half guard there - taking advantage of Chav's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lucy is not content to let Chav control the position.
Lucy is trying to control Chav's posture but Chav avoids it.
Chav has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Lucy!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Lucy is looking to get to half guard.
Chav takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Lucy's coach down at DRAGON MMA - 13 Elite & 2 Double Elite Coaches was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lucy's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Chav feints and then cracks Lucy's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lucy down.

Pikey Chav seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chav fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lucy.

Lucy takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Lucy tries to score with a low kick but Chav moves his leg out of the way.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chav tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Chav wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lucy, who protects the arm well.
Chav is looking to take a break and control but Lucy is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Well, if Chav is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Chav wants to control but Lucy is keeping him busy.
Lucy wants to improve his position but Chav is controlling well.
Chav is controlling the pace.

Lucy throws a low kick but Chav avoids it.
Chav lands with an uppercut that bounces Lucy off the cage and back into range.

A little jabbing left from Lucy on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Chav wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Chav escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lucy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
