Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bryan Fury!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mark Mason!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Fury with that takedown attempt.
Fury throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Mason avoids the head kick by Fury.
Mason blocks the body kick.
Fury throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mason.

Mason shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mason's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Fury is looking to sweep but instead, Mason has passed into half guard.

Despite being in the dominant position, Mark Mason just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Fury throws a series of strikes that have Mason backpedaling.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Mason closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Fury is trying to control but can't.

Mason looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Fury has a hand on Mason's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Mason takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
Mason lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Mason tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Fury has had enough of the clinch but Mason keeps him there for the moment.
Bryan Fury has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
