Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Del Oeste (ranked 1589 p4p, 193 weight class) and Rosco Ladd (ranked 653 p4p, 84 weight class). Del Oeste comes to the cage accompanied by Coming Home. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ladd throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Del Oeste feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Del Oeste has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Ladd is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Del Oeste.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Del Oeste looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ladd with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
