Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jallu Pesonen (ranked 720 p4p, 83 weight class) and Paulski McBeth (ranked 1383 p4p, 171 weight class). Pesonen kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is DJ Orkidea - Joutsenlaulu. Jallu Pesonen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McBeth tries to roll over but Pesonen keeps him under control.

McBeth felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

McBeth wants to sweep here but Pesonen controlling him for the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pesonen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Jallu Pesonen was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
