Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Omama Banana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Timothy Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Omama Banana has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banana fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Davis looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Davis moves in looking to clinch but Banana pushes him off.

Banana gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Banana tries to pull guard but Davis holds him up against the cage and eventually Banana drops back down to his feet.
Banana has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Davis is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Omama Banana. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Banana is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Davis pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Banana can't get the takedown.
Banana is trying to stall.
Banana tries for a takedown. No joy.
Banana drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Davis gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Banana is pressed up against the cage. Davis has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Banana down to the mat. Banana avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Banana shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Banana was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Banana cracks Davis with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Banana lands with some strikes.
Davis taking shots to the head.
Banana is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Banana is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Davis can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Banana postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Davis in real trouble here! The ref calls for Davis to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
