Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mosaam Hamed (ranked 25204 p4p, 0 weight class) and Viking Guthrum (ranked 2244 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guthrum has closed the distance and engaged Hamed in a clinch.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Guthrum.
Hamed jumps guard but Guthrum stands there with Hamed around his waist. Hamed gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Guthrum makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Hamed ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hamed no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Guthrum seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
