The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Russeler lands a head kick. Winson smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Russeler misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Winson counters with a head kick that drops Russeler to the mat! Russeler scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

and Winson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Russeler's guard.

Winson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

It looks like Winson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
