With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Furnum Pullum!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nigannou looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
And Pullum tries to counter it with a takedown but Nigannou pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Nigannou throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Pullum counters with a nice double leg into side control. Nigannou won't be happy with that.

Pullum working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Pullum is working to tighten his grip on Nigannou's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Nigannou has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Pullum is really squeezing tight and eventually Nigannou passes out! Pullum breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Furnum Pullum!

Furnum Pullum decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
