The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Charled tenderised Hopkins's leg. Hopkins is trying to keep his angry face on.
Hopkins is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hopkins tries to clinch up.
Charled was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Charled is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Charled moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Charled tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Hopkins manages to circle out of the way.

Charled tried to counter with a leg kick but Hopkins avoided it.
Hopkins throws a body punch but Charled moves out of range.

Hopkins tries a quick counter leg kick but Charled is wise to it.
Charled's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hopkins connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Charled scrambles back to his feet.

Hopkins pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Charled.
Charled throws a shot from downtown. Hopkins moves away and avoids it.
Hopkins connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Benson Charled has been cut.
Hopkins scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Charled steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hopkins.
Charled dips to his left and cracks Hopkins with an uppercut!
Charled throws the kick towards the body but Hopkins avoids it.
Hopkins digs a good body shot into Charled's ribs.

and Hopkins counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hopkins misses with a hook. Charled ducked under it nicely.
Charled swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Hopkins counters with a huge left! Charled is in big trouble! He's backing up but Hopkins isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Charled from any more damage. A dominating finish by Hopkins!
