Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Omas (ranked 5285 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rex Sheuster (ranked 3331 p4p, 366 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Antonio Omas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rex Sheuster! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Omas shoots in for a takedown but Sheuster shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Omas blocks a head kick by Sheuster.
Sheuster is looking to land body kicks. Omas appears to be looking for a big counter. Omas keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sheuster. Omas tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sheuster sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Omas somewhat. Sheuster throws a body shot but no joy. Sheuster moves into the clinch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Sheuster. Omas is looking to take this one to the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Antonio Omas. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sheuster's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sheuster tries to clinch there but Omas circles away.
Sheuster tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Omas paws at him with a jab and circles away. Omas shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sheuster pinned against the cage. Sheuster gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Omas forces Sheuster back against the cage and clinches. Sheuster misses with the head strike.
Sheuster throws a punch but it's blocked by Omas. Sheuster looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. A frustrated look appears on Sheuster's face as he tries to break the clinch. Sheuster has Omas pressed against the cage, preventing Omas from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Sheuster tries to throw a body punch but Omas avoids it by throwing Sheuster back against the cage. Omas prevents a body shot from Sheuster. Sheuster has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Omas is trying to drag Sheuster to the mat but Sheuster just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Omas blocks a body shot from Sheuster. Sheuster manages to break the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sheuster displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Omas. Sheuster fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Omas checks it well. Omas is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Sheuster. Good leg kick by Sheuster there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Omas shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sheuster's guard. Omas postures up and lands a big shot to Sheuster's brow. Sheuster has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Omas landing some decent shots from guard. Sheuster is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Omas is controlling him. Sheuster really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Omas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Omas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sheuster swivels though and keeps the full guard. Omas chips away with some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Omas lands a couple of elbows. Omas seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Omas's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Omas is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Sheuster is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Omas is in close to Sheuster's body, working some short punches and elbows. Omas trying to control but Sheuster is working from the bottom. Omas lands a couple of elbows. Sheuster wants to stand and escape but Omas is having none of it. Omas is working Sheuster over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Omas working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Omas won't allow Sheuster to get back to his feet. Omas thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Omas postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Omas is stalling in the full guard. Omas works over Sheuster with some ground and pound from guard. Omas landing with the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Omas working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Sheuster's head. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Omas forces his way into half guard. Omas is controlling the pace.
Omas lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Antonio Omas will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Omas tries to clinch but Sheuster moves out of range. Omas shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Sheuster stuffs the takedown attempt from Omas. Omas gets slowly back to his feet. Sheuster changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Sheuster looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Sheuster throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Omas takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Sheuster kicks off Omas and gets to his feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Omas throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Antonio Omas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Omas shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sheuster is trying to stand back up but Omas is controlling him

And that's the end of the fight! Antonio Omas showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Omas, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
