Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lewis Kinsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and patrick mollica (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as patrick mollica enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lewis Kinsey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, patrick mollica!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kinsey decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
mollica is looking for a sweep. Kinsey is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Kinsey decides to return to a standing position.
Kinsey wants to clinch.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kinsey drags the fight down to the ground.
Kinsey wants to stand up but mollica is controlling him.
Kinsey scrambles and gets back to his feet.
mollica moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Kinsey lands with a thumping leg kick.

and Kinsey counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kinsey stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. mollica swivels though and keeps the full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now mollica is on top in guard.

mollica wants to pass the guard but Kinsey is keeping the position.
Kinsey escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. mollica gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kinsey is breathing heavily.
mollica stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kinsey swivels though and keeps the full guard.
mollica pushes down on Kinsey's leg and manages to get into half guard.

mollica wants to pass to mount but Kinsey is defending the position.

Kinsey closes the distance and clinches up with mollica, looking for a takedown. Kinsey pushes mollica against the cage but mollica circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Kinsey shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kinsey was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

mollica goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Kinsey shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in mollica's guard.

Kinsey would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

mollica working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kinsey doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kinsey manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
mollica has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kinsey can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lewis Kinsey overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
mollica tries to free his leg and advance position but Kinsey is retaining full guard.

mollica has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kinsey uses from the top position.
