Barnett shoots in but Gomes avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Barnett tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gomes swivels and escapes.

Gomes has hold of Barnett's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Barnett manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gomes cracks Barnett with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
